Super One Click Root utility not only allows you to root your Android phone, but also lets you use options like Allow Non Market Apps as well as phone unlock delivery. The app creator said: “I made it. I tested it. It works…”

The app roots a lot of Android phone, plus Samsung Captivate on Android 2.2 Froyo.

Now let’s get started:

  1. Download SuperOneClickv2.2-ShortFuse
  2. Connect your phone to the computer. Be careful NOT to mount the SD card
  3. Go to the phone settings and enable USB debugging
  4. Now launch SuperOneClick.exe on your computer
  5. Click on Universal tab on screen if you are rooting any device like Nexus One, Galaxy S, Droid, etc., or click on Samsung Captivate if that is your phone
  6. Next click the Root tab and wait for the process to finish.
  7. When all is finished, you can click
Allow Non Market Apps if you want.

The SuperOneClick works on all operating systems which have at least 2.0 NetFramework. If now, update it.

The following devices don’t work with the tool. They can be rooted with Unrevoked One Click Root. Click the link to get the app and the tutorial:

  • Sprint EVO 4G (HTC Supersonic)
  • Droid Incredible (HTC Incredible)
  • HTC Desire GSM
  • HTC Desire CDMA (HTC BravoC)
  • HTC Aria
  • Droid Eris (HTC DesireC)
  • HTC Wildfire (HTC Buzz)

hello, there is a way, but i didin’t post it yet because it is very coomplicated and it is not for begginers. the method is done through command line, and it is very dangerous for your phone if you do the slightest mistake. if you are still interested, i’ll give you the tutorial.

When i do it , the SuperOneclick just stops at ‘waiting for device’ then it says not responding. Also, does “Be careful NOT to mount the SD card mean” to select unmount from settings? Thanks.

This does NOT work on Galaxy S2 contrary to the commenter above who doesnt have the s2 and thinks that it does work. Just google around and you’ll find out why it does not and would never work.

    1) May i know how to root HTC Sensation XE?
    Thank you

  22. Tymes says:

    2) For SuperOneClick. is that mean, the higher version will be support more model/brand of mobile? or for particular version of SuperOneClick only support particular mobile?
what i mean is SuperOneClick 2.31 will able to root HTC Sensation XE/XL. How about SuperOneClick 2.33 or latest version? iF so, which mean i should go for latest version of SuperOneClick, will be more stable for success. Forgive me for the question.. As new smartphone user (previously using Nokia X2-02 – Short life), this is my 1st time to root. which the phone still new for less than a month.
